The Rose & Crown is a family run free house country pub & restaurant set in a picturesque village.
The pub is situated on the A47 in the village of Houghton on the Hill, Leicestershire. Houghton on the Hill is 7 miles from Leicester City Centre and on the door step of Rutland Water.
The Rose and Crown offers a warm welcome and friendly atmosphere together with a wide selection of lagers and real ales, some sourced from local breweries, as well as a full wine list and a selection of soft and alcoholic drinks.
There is a large car park, outside seating area in the courtyard, covered heated smoking area and a petanque piste.
The traditional pub game of darts can be played in the pub and a skittle alley is available for playing long alley skittles, private functions, family gatherings, meetings and clubs. Catering is available including buffets and traditional suppers for skittles parties.
The Rose and Crown has free WiFi which is available for use by all our customers. It's ideal for business lunches and meetings.
